Armandos joined the Firm as an associate within the Shipping Department in January 2019. He has previously worked in a shipping department of a well-known Greek law firm and with International Hull and Machinery Underwriters, both located in Piraeus.
Armandos graduated from the Sociology department of the University of Crete in 2007. He then obtained his LL.B. (Hons.) from the University of Essex in 2012 and he subsequently completed an LL.M. in Maritime Law from the Bristol University in 2013 after submitting his thesis on “Do English Law, Hague-Visby Rules and Rotterdam Rules provide adequate legal frameworks regarding the carriage of dangerous goods?”, in which a distinction was awarded.
Armandos is a Member of the Piraeus Bar Association since 2017 and he specialises in Shipping, Corporate, International Trade and IP law.
He speaks Greek and English.
