Marcus joined Dingli & Dingli as a Legal Trainee in the litigation department in early 2022 and was subsequently admitted to the Maltese Bar. He holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons.) from the University of Malta (2020), where his dissertation, ‘Appointment, Discipline, and Removal of Members of the Judiciary – A Comparative Analysis,’ examined judicial mechanisms in Malta and Italy. His work delivered a comprehensive comparison of both systems, highlighting strengths and areas for improvement through reference to international frameworks, and offering reform suggestions.

As a litigation lawyer, he practises litigation in various different areas of law such as criminal, civil, employment, family, data protection, contractual, corporate and commercial law.

In 2021, Marcus earned his Master of Advocacy from the University of Malta, solidifying his expertise in legal practice. He also broadened his academic horizons through an Erasmus exchange at Jagiellonian University in Poland, where he studied criminal, monetary, and EU law.

Currently, Marcus is pursuing a Master of Laws in International Corporate and Commercial Law at King’s College London, further expanding his specialisation in global business law.

During his university years, Marcus played an active role in ELSA Malta, serving as Vice President for the Student Trainee Exchange Programme, fostering international legal education exchanges.

Fluent in English and Maltese, with a working knowledge of Italian, Marcus combines a diverse legal background contributing a unique perspective to his practice.
