Elisa Grech joined the firm as an associate in 2018.
Elisa graduated from the University of Malta, completing the Doctor of Laws (LL.D.) in 2017, after submitting a thesis titled ‘The Right to Marry and to Found a Family under Article 12 of the Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms’.
In 2012, Elisa was presented with the ‘Professor David J Attard Prize’ in recognition of academic excellence for placing first in her first year of the Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.)(2011- 2012).
In 2013, she participated successfully in the ‘Public Speaking Academy’ organised by the The English-Speaking Union of Malta.
In 2015, during her time at the University of Malta she was involved in the co-authorship and co-ordination of the compilation of an English to Maltese and Latin to English legal translator titled ‘The GħSL Legal Translator’ which was published by the student body Għaqda Studenti tal-Liġi.
Elisa studied at the Universita’ degli Studi di Roma Tre in Rome between October 2016 and January 2017 on an Erasmus Student Exchange Programme where she attended lectures on Anglo-American Company Law and Intellectual Property Law.
She was admitted to the Bar in Valletta in 2018 and has since then been a member of the Chamber of Advocates Malta.
In 2019, she successfully completed ‘The Malta Digital & Innovation Training – VFA Agents course’ organised by the Malta Institute of Management.
In her free time, Elisa enjoys painting and is very much interested in interior design. In 2015, she was awarded ‘The Gold Standard of the Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award’.
