Mr. Armandos Lestos and Dr. Louisa Dingli attended the World Shipping Law Forum which was held last Friday, 25th January 2019 in N.J.V. Athens Plaza, Athens Greece. A number of key players from the shipping industry presented and discussed various issues in Shipping Law such as the interaction between blockchain, smart contracts and the shipping industry, emerging developments in ship finance as well as the regulatory scene in international environment law with particular focus on marine pollution.
