Georgios Panagakis joined Dingli & Dingli Law firm in 2016. He is an associate lawyer in the shipping and corporate department of the firm.

Before joining Dingli & Dingli Law Firm, he worked as a claims handler in a ship-management company in Greece where he acquired in-depth expertise in maritime claims.

Georgios obtained his LL.B. degree from the University of Essex (UK) in 2012. In 2013 he pursued his first LL.M. in International Commercial Law from the Cardiff University (UK) after submitting a thesis on "Traditional Maritime Nations, Flags of Convenience and the impact of the economic crisis". In 2014 he obtained a second LL.M. in Maritime Law from the City University of London (UK) following completion of a dissertation entitled "Safe port obligations under Voyage and Time Charters: a critical examination".

Georgios is a qualified lawyer in Greece and he is a member of the Athens Bar Association since 2016.
