Dr. Lorna Mifsud Cachia from our Employment & Industrial Relations  practice recently contributed to the 1st Edition of the New Forms of Employment in Europe edited by Roger Blanpain and Frank Hendrickx. 

Such publication sheds light on policy options for policymakers and practitioners on the position regarding new forms of employment in EU Member States and other European countries.

This book presents jurisdictional reports by experts on new forms of employment in their respective countries, raises awareness of the problems generated by new emerging forms of employment, and provides some answers and insights, including lessons to be learned from current developments. In particular, various authors focus on issues that have not been sufficiently addressed so far under European law provides additional knowledge to labour law practitioners, company legal counsel, human resources professionals, and academics in the field.
